McLean’s Something Blue Gin

Originally created as a one-off celebration for makers Colin and Jessica’s wedding in 2018, McLean’s Something Blue Gin became so beloved it joined their permanent range six years after the day they first met. Crafted entirely by hand in small batches in Glasgow, this distinctive gin centres on two favourite botanicals – tonka bean, offering notes of vanilla, marzipan and caramel, and buchu leaf, bringing vibrant aromas of blackcurrant, mint and mango with a herbal edge. Combined with five secret botanicals and made using a traditional 17th-century method, Something Blue is McLean’s most unusual and intriguing expression, with every bottle individually bottled, labelled and sealed by hand.
