Ludlow Single Malt Whisky Pedro Ximénez Sherry Cask

Our finest three-year-old ‘Distiller’s Cut’ English single malt whisky is lovingly handcrafted in the heart of the Welsh Marches using only two ingredients: the finest English and Scottish malted barley, and purified water; the Scottish malt having been slowly and gently smoked in a peat kiln. We carefully triple-distil our spirit, before ageing it in second-fill casks, used first as American bourbon casks, and then as Scottish whisky casks; this limited edition has been finished in a Pedro Ximénez cask.

Full bodied, amber coloured. Fragrant spices and stewed apricot on the nose. Cacao nibs, espresso, dates, a little pepper and nutmeg. A legthy and complex finish with a touch of salinity.
