Ludlow Single Malt English Whisky - Royal Cider Cask

Our finest Distiller’s Limited Edition Cut English Single Malt Whisky is lovingly handcrafted in the heart of the Welsh Marches using only two ingredients: the finest English and Scottish malted barley, and purified water, the Scottish malt having been slowly and gently smoked in a peat kiln. We carefully quadruple-distil our spirit, before ageing it in second-fill casks, which were used first to mature American bourbon and secondly Scottish whisky. This unique edition has then been cask finished in a rum cask that has also held Tom Oliver's celebrated Royal Cider.

Medium-bodied Whisky with a rich golden hue. A nose of baked apple, honeyed malt and soft spice. On the palate: rum-soaked sultana, vanilla, dried peel and warming oak. A clean, spiced finish with hints of citrus and wild apple.
