Domaine Laporte is one of the most highly respected estates in the Loire Valley, comprised of more than 74 acres of vineyards in Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre. Their flagship Sancerre comes from one of the finest vineyards in the appellation, Domaine du Rochoy, a 25-acre monopole vineyard carved out of the flint hillside overlooking the Loire River. Rochoy offers grapes with wonderful ripeness and incredible mineral expression from Silex soils, the rarest terroir in Sancerre.

La Terre des Anges» shade reminds the colour of the flintstones: a very pale and crystal clear wine. The nose expresses strong firestones notes and blackcurrant flowers, anouncing a nice minerality. In the mouth, « La Terre des Anges » is like an explosion support by a nice intensity. Fresh and mineral, there’s nice smoky notes in the aftertaste.

Serves well with nice fish, scalops, oysters, cheese, asian food.
