Glenallachie Tawny Port Pipe 15 Year Old

Hand-selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker, this 15-year-old expression is part of the fifth batch of the UK-exclusive Single Cask series. Each specially selected release demonstrates the exceptional casks to be found in GlenAllachie’s warehouses and Walker’s meticulous approach to wood management which sees him use his experience and expertise to steer the unique interaction of wood, spirit and subsequent flavour development. Bottled at 60.7%, unchilfiltered and natural colour, only 718 bottles are available.

The nose offers lashings of honey, dark chocolate and musky berries, followed by sweet spice, treacle and grape must. The taste provides waves of blackberries, heather honey and cinnamon, followed by layers of mocha, dried fruits and vanilla pods.
