Glenallachie Rioja Barrique 15 Year Old

Hand-selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker, this 15-year-old expression is part of the fifth batch of the UK-exclusive Single Cask series. Each specially selected release demonstrates the exceptional casks to be found in GlenAllachie’s warehouses and Walker’s meticulous approach to wood management which sees him use his experience and expertise to steer the unique interaction of wood, spirit and subsequent flavour development.

The nose offers rich notes of stewed plums, raspberries, coconut, treacle and nutmeg. The taste beings layers of heather honey, treacle and ginger, with red berries, apricots and almonds.
