anCnoc Vintage 2009 has been matured in Spanish and American oak casks and has been bottled in its most natural form, neither coloured or non-chill filtered. As a result this dram may develop a light haze with the addition of water or if kept at a cold temperature. This haze is a natural characteristic of whisky that is non chill-filtered.
This vinatge has a nose of delicate spices of American oak, with notes of citrus, green apples and sweet toffee. All wrapped up in the classic honey and citrus flavours which are typical of anCnoc single malt whisky. The palate is rich spiciness, sweet green apples, dark chocolate with hint of butterscotch which adds more complexity to this fine single malt resulting in a smooth and delicate finish.
