Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 1 2023

Presenting Batch 1 of Lochlea Cask Strength, the first of this annual limited release. It is a marriage of Bourbon and Sherry casks and is bottled at natural cask strength, with no additional colouring or chill filtering.

This is as close as you can get to taking a sample straight from the cask. All of their releases have been very well received, and this one should be no different. Lochlea is a farm distillery in south Ayrshire which grows all their own barley & provide their own water source in the limestone aquafers deep below the distillery. Lochlea, they pride themselves from field to bottle.
